Description

Quick and cheesy ground beef Philly cheese steak—easy skillet dinner ready in 30 minutes!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (85/15)
  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 cup (115 g) mushrooms (optional)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp pepper

  • 6 slices provolone cheese

  • Hoagie rolls (optional)

 

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add onion and bell pepper, sauté 5 minutes until softened.

  3. Stir in mushrooms and garlic, cook 2 minutes.

  4. Add ground beef, cook until browned and no longer pink.

  5. Drain any excess fat; stir Worcestershire, salt, and pepper into beef mixture.

  6. Lay provolone slices over beef, cover, and let melt.

  7. Spoon mixture into toasted hoagie rolls.

  9. Serve hot with fries, chips, or a crisp salad.
