Description

A rich and indulgent chocolate cake with a Middle Eastern twist, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup (100g) cocoa powder

  • 2 cups (400g) sugar

  • 1 cup (240ml) vegetable oil

  • 3 eggs (room temp)

  • 1 cup (240ml) buttermilk

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup (120ml) strong brewed coffee

  • 1 cup (125g) chopped pistachios (divided)

  • Chocolate ganache glaze (melted chocolate + cream)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease bundt pan.

  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.

  • Mix wet ingredients in another.

  • Combine until smooth.

  • Fold in ½ cup pistachios.

  • Pour batter into pan, bake 40–45 mins.

  • Cool, drizzle ganache, sprinkle remaining pistachios.
